How I Finally Stopped Fighting My Own Energy!

Hi friend,
Can you believe it’s already mid-June? The summer is flying by, and I’ve been spending so much time in my garden lately, just watching the world grow. Being out there, with my hands in the dirt and the breeze on my face, has been such a grounding reminder of how important it is to be intentional with our own energy.
As a Reiki master and meditation teacher, I’m often asked how I stay centered, especially while navigating my own journey with chronic dizziness and anxiety. I want to be really honest with you: it’s not always a perfect, zen-filled path.
Some days, I am absolutely in the flow, my intentions are clear, my chakras feel balanced, and I feel that resilient, steady strength we all strive for. But there are also days where I am just a person doing my best. I forget to breathe, I lose my focus, and I have days where the physical or mental overwhelm gets the better of me.
On those days, I don’t beat myself up. I just remember that it’s all part of the practice.
Setting an intention isn't about being perfect; it’s about having a compass. It’s about being able to say, "Okay, I’m feeling a bit scattered today. How can I come back to center?" Whether it’s a quick meditation, a moment of deep breathing, or just spending a few quiet minutes in the garden, I use these tools to find my way back to myself.
If you are having a moment where things feel a little off-balance, please know you aren't alone. You don't have to be perfect to be intentional.
I’m curious, what’s one small thing that helps you find your footing when things feel a little shaky? I’d love to hear what brings you back to center.
Sending you so much love and steady energy today.
