Summer Sigh

Some days, my brain feels too full like everything’s happening all at once. The noise, the thoughts, the tension… it’s just a lot.

So I step outside. Not far. Just enough to find a quiet spot under the trees and watch the butterflies flutter past.

I take off my shoes, feel the ground under my feet, touch the bark of a tree. Slowly, my breath starts to settle.

Nature doesn’t fix everything. But when I’m anxious or on the edge of panic, it helps. The breeze softens the tightness in my chest. The calm reminds me how to come back to myself.

A little moment. A summer sigh. That’s often all I need.

If you’re feeling anxious or overstimulated, here are a few gentle things to try:

• Step outside, even for five minutes. Let natural sounds guide you back to calm.

• Take slow, deep breaths and notice how your body feels especially your feet on the ground.

• Focus on small details: a leaf’s texture, the way light moves, the path of a butterfly.

• Remind yourself: it’s okay to pause. You don’t have to fix everything right now.

You deserve a quiet moment too. 🌿
